Pricing
CivicClaim is a novelty game. You pay once to write your own name onto a spot on a cartoon map of the United States, and you keep it until another player pays more and takes it from you. One-off purchases, no subscription. The prices below are the minimum for a spot nobody holds yet.
| What you get to do | Starts at |
|---|---|

Give a state a nickname Add a joke name beside a state - the real name always stays visible | $1,000 |
Be our make-believe President The single most prominent name on the map - a game title, not a real office | $1,000 |
Taking a spot costs +$1
To take a spot from whoever holds it, you pay at least $1 more than they did. You can always choose to pay more.
Prices never go below the start
The starting price is a floor, not just an opening number - a takeover can never settle below it, even after a refund.
Tax is added at checkout
Any sales tax or VAT required in your country is added on top of the price shown, and is displayed before you pay.
What you actually get
Bragging rights, basically. Your name sits on the map for everyone to see, and everyone gets to watch when somebody takes it off you.
- • Your own name shown on that spot on the map for as long as you hold it.
- • An optional colour label (blue, red, purple, grey or undisclosed), just for fun.
- • A permanent line in that spot's history, even after somebody takes it from you.
- • A place on the leaderboards, the live feed, and your own player page.
This is a game, for entertainment only. You are buying your own name on a made-up map. It is not a vote, not a political donation, not real ownership of any place, and it grants no authority of any kind. Players write their own names, not business promotions: CivicClaim carries no advertising, sells no space to third parties, and offers no marketing or promotional service. See the Disclaimer and Terms of Service.
Payment and refunds
Card details are entered on our payment provider's secure checkout and never reach CivicClaim. A name goes live on the map only after the payment is confirmed; if somebody else's higher payment is confirmed while you are paying, yours is refunded in full automatically. Full terms are in the Refund Policy.
